ALL of our packages include a DJ who can Professionally MC your reception at no extra charge. Some venues because of layout may require the use of a DJ and Master Of Ceremonies. Our “Plus Packages” may be your solution.

A special note before you book: When you engage our services we will do everything within our power to meet your requirements. We are, however, unable to accept bookings that specify a request for a particular member of our team.

Wedding Packages for special dates (i.e. Christmas and New Year)

M.C. Only Package

Let our dedicated professional Master of Ceremonies take control of timings and formalities throughout the length of your reception. With our extensive experience and advice you can relax and enjoy the celebration of your Special Day. This package relies on the use of the reception venue’s audio system. If none is available you will need to seek permission from your entertainment source for us to use their microphone etc. Alternatively please contact us to discuss. We offer:

One consultation meeting with your MC to discuss:

  • Introduction of parents, bridal party and bride and groom
  • Welcome address
  • Circulation of guest book

  • Introduction of bridal waltz / dance
  • Co-ordination of bouquet / garter / farewells

CEREMONY MUSIC

(ONLY AVAILABLE IN CONJUNCTION WITH ONE OF OUR PACKAGES)

From $99.00 GST Inclusive

If you book one of our packages, we can also provide the music for your wedding ceremony at a cost-effective price. The only provisos that we must make are:

  • The ceremony is held within the grounds of your reception venue
  • There is a power supply within 10m of the equipment site
  • In case of inclement weather, there is ample shelter for the equipment

If your reception venue has an adequate audio / CD system installed we will normally use this. We will also provide:

  • One Black Tie Events Compere up to 1½ hours.
  • One 300 watt self powered speaker. (If no venue equipment is available)
  • One single professional CD player. (If no venue equipment is available)
  • Liaison with the person performing the ceremony.
  • Incorporation of your requirements including music suggestions at your reception consultation.

The initial cost to your package choice is $99 (GST incl.) calculated from the arrival time of the guests at your ceremony to the start time of your reception pre-dinner drinks. If this time is greater than 1½ hours the additional hourly charges are outlined in the Appendix.

Are you having your service outside? Will your celebrant be heard? For a small additional fee (see Appendix) we can provide a radio microphone linked to our system so that all can hear.

Honeymoon Package

For Breakfast and Lunchtime Weddings we would suggest our “Honeymoon Package”. To qualify the reception MUST conclude before 1600hrs. NO extensions beyond this time are allowed. If your reception runs past 1600hrs you will need to consider our Champagne Package.

Daytime receptions are becoming increasingly popular. Let our professional Master of Ceremonies / DJ provide you with up to 4 hours of fun. So tap those champagne glasses; nibble at the canapés, and dance to your style of music.

Plus Packages

+$440.00 GST Inclusive

Introduce flexibility to our standard packages. With our “Plus” packages you get a Master of Ceremonies AND a Black Tie Disc Jockey. This combination is especially useful where the venue has no in-house audio system, awkwardly shaped rooms, visual obstructions or the dance floor or stage is not in a central point.

The additional benefits are:

  • Individual introduction of guests if required.
  • Musical cues for the introduction of the Bridal Party.
  • Musical cues for speeches.
  • Co-ordinate proceedings in the case of visual obstructions, off-centre dance floors and / or awkwardly shaped rooms.
  • Co-ordinate timings, events and locations with photographer / videographer.
  • Flexibility when the dance floor is located in a separate room to the main reception.
  • Enable the MC to host the evening from a central point and co-ordinate with the venue.

Add to your package choice: $400.00 + $40.00 GST = $440.00

Combination Packages

We can arrange a combination of a band and a DJ. Please call us to discuss your requirements but note that about SIX Month’s notice is usually required to ensure availability!

Special Packages

Having your reception on board a boat? Having the ceremony on deck? We can tailor a package that gives you ceremony music, microphone for the celebrant and your exchange of vows, plus your on-board reception entertainment. We also have a special package if you are getting married on Puffing Billy. In fact we are here to help wherever you decide to tie the knot. Please call us for advice and suggestions especially if you are planning something slightly different.

Special Effects Only Package

$748.00 GST Inclusive

If you have a preference for live music, but would still like some special effects to create a memorable photographic moment, then this package may well be what you are after.

$680.00 + $68.00 GST = $748.00

  • One Black Tie Events Technician for the operation of the dry ice machine. Maximum attendance time included is 2 hours. For attendance over 2 hours please refer to Quality Services. The Compere will co-ordinate with the band and photographer(s) for maximum effect.
  • Dry Ice – As you make your way onto the dance floor for your Bridal Dance, dry ice is filtered out at ground level. This effect usually lasts for approximately 4 min. satisfying the length of the normal song. With this package we supply 4 x 2.5kg blocks of dry ice.
  • Special FX Lights – As most bands / duos etc do not provide lighting, we will supply two Special FX lights. This will be shone at floor level for the duration of the Bridal Danceto enhance the appearance and effect of the dry ice. Please note that there is no price reduction if the lighting is not required.

Important – Your venue must approve of the use of these special effects. It is your responsibility to check before you book. It is suggested that the Bridal Waltz be done after entrée, forming a short music bracket between courses. This has proven to the best time for Special Effects affording a controlled situation and the full attention of your guests. On completion we are able to clear the dance floor and prevent the spread of petals / flutter etc throughout the venue. Sometimes dry ice can form a thin film, especially on highly polished surfaces and it is important that we are able to prepare the area for the next set of dancing.

Large Functions

Our 600-watt system is more than adequate for the majority of wedding receptions of up to 250 people. Functions over this number may require your consideration of upgrading to a 1200-watt system. Please see the appendix for recommendations.
